Annie Leibovitz

this is a group of images by Annie Leibovitz,she is well known for taking pictures of  famous people, like, anganline joile, and iggy pop, i like the one in the middle of the anganlina joile in the bath its kind of telling a story, its different, its mostly intreging, i like it, because its not full of colour, it has emotion in it, and you dont see many famous people laying half naked in photographs, and it is very strong and not clutterd, they are intresting and all have effects in them, i love the last one because it is very strong and very artistic, and would have taken a long time to get that perfect shot, i like these pictures because they are all different and unique in different ways and very intresting to look at, i would like to know how to do this.

FACTUAL:This image is photographed by Perou, he is well known for Dirty,Sexy,Things on E4. He is well known is well for making people famous and most of the people are british.
CONTEXT: this is one of many photos Perou took in series of  Dirty Sexy Things.
TECHNICAL: I think this image is in a studio and captured by a slr, because it is clear, and very focused.
AESTHETIC: what i like most about this image is how strong the colours are and i like the facial expressions. i would like to know how to do this.

focal point

this image i have chosen to use is by Vee Speers.
when i first looked at the picture i was kinda intreged by it, and it made me wonder. It caught my eye on what she was holding and the way she was looking at the camera, it looked evil but great, it looked disturbing but great for focal point.
its not really a picture you would normal see but she handle it very well..
i love this picture because its disturbing but i want more, and i love the use of colour, i would like know more about this.. and why she did it.

composition

this image is by Annie Liebovitz, i have chosen this picture because it makes your eyes wonder around looking at the focusing point which is man, but in the background alot of things are happening to make this image what it is and she has used alot of bright red to make stand out too, i think this is great for composion.
the first thing i looked at when i saw this picture is basically the man, but then i looked around and all the background caught my eye..
i like this picture because its different and the use of eye is the used, you wouldnt normally see this happen... she has made it come to life.

lighting

This image is brilliant for lighting because you can see why she is doing this, she has used the lighting to focus on her dress and her figure, she has put the lighting at the top of the picture so it can reflected on her dress and her back of her body, it makes it look posh and elligente and rich, she looks sexy and very high up.. the camera has been used on the floor and looking up so you can see the lighting and makes it look like she is in spot light. great use of lighting, nice and bright and in your face.. i like this picture because its bold and looks magical and hot but rich.. and the use of camera angles and lighting

This image i have chosen for my example is by John Hedgcoe.
this is image is good to use because you can see where it is focusing on which is his hands
i choose this image because you can see what is the background, plain grey sheet.. it is quiet close, and you can the blackout points, i like this picture because its in black and white and i would like to know abit more about how and why he did this..

first analysis

FACTUAL: this photograph is captured by Annie liebowitz, she is well known for taking photographs by famous people.

 CONTEXT: this photography is brilliant because she has shown that how she can use the lighting to make the picture out there.. she used the lighting to capture here body and the way her movement is, the picture is in the center and i understand what she is trying to do with it. she has used well known people.

TECHNICAL: i think she has used slr camera or a digital because its still and clear no blurs and she has put the light in the top hand left corner and then the right hand bottom corner which is headed towards the center, which is capturing her body. she has tried to make it look slizzey, but sexy which she has successfully achieved. The depht and field looks like they have used a clear background but when she is aiming the camera it captures a darker colour.

AESTHETIC: i love this picture because the lighting is bright and its different the way the woman is throughing her own body on his lap. its different but good to understand what she is trying to achieve, i love the colour scheme, i would like to know how she did this.
